Product Information
Unilin Thin‑R Roof/Floor PIR Insulation 50mm is a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) board with composite aluminium foil facings on both sides. It is certified to EN 13165 and BBA approved for use in ground supported and suspended floors, as well as pitched roof applications.
The board provides thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and an R-value of approximately 2.27 m²K/W, making it suitable for improving thermal performance where space is limited.
Each board measures 1 200 mm × 2 400 mm, covering 2.88 m². Installation is carried out in a staggered, break bonded pattern with tightly butted joints. Perimeter strips can be used to reduce thermal bridging and maintain insulation continuity.
