Product Information
Unilin Thin‑R Roof/Floor PIR Insulation 100mm is a rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) board with aluminium foil facings on both sides. It is certified to EN 13165 and BBA approved for use in ground supported and suspended floors, as well as pitched roof applications.
The insulation board provides a thermal conductivity of 0.022 W/mK and an R-value of approximately 4.55 m²K/W, making it suitable for improving thermal performance and compatible with underfloor heating systems.
Each board measures 1200mm × 2400mm, covering 2.88m². Installation is carried out in a staggered, break bonded pattern with tightly butted joints. Perimeter strips can be used to reduce thermal bridging. The closed cell PIR core offers moisture resistance, and foil facings improve airtightness and low emissivity performance.
