Radiator Pipe Covers

Neat Collars for Exposed Heating Pipes

A new radiator can still look unfinished where the pipes pass through the floor. MacBlair's radiator pipe cover section includes pipe collars, including a white 15mm option, for tidying the visible gap around the pipe. They sit within the wider plumbing and heating range.

Measure the pipe's outside diameter rather than the hole in the floor. Check the collar opening, outside diameter and whether it can be fitted around an existing pipe or must be slipped on before connection. The visible finish should work with the floor and valve colour, not just the radiator panel.

Covers are decorative, not a remedy for leaking or poorly supported pipework. If the exposed run needs securing or altering, compare pipe covers and clips and copper pipe and fittings. Leave enough access to inspect the joint and operate the valve.

Pipe Covers FAQ's

Measure the pipe outside diameter, commonly 15mm on domestic heating, then check the product’s stated opening and outer size.

Some split or hinged designs can; solid rings may need to go on before the pipe is connected. Check the specific product construction.

No. It is a finishing piece. Investigate and repair any leak before fitting a decorative cover.

It is a visual choice, but matching the valve or floor trim can give a more coherent finish. Size and fit still come first.

Only if their outside diameter covers the opening while leaving a stable fit around the pipe. Measure both dimensions before ordering.
