This 70mm x 3000mm metal channel forms the horizontal floor and ceiling tracks for interior partition walls. Designed to work alongside 70mm metal C studs within our
To install, the track is fixed directly to the floor and ceiling using appropriate masonry or timber fixings. Vertical metal studs are then friction-fitted into the track to create a rigid vertical frame, ready for plasterboard attachment. The profile features pre-pinched holes along its length, which speeds up alignment and fixing, directly reducing labour time and installation costs on site.
Produced from galvanised steel, this track offers measurable fire resistance and structural integrity for commercial and domestic spaces. The system contributes to the overall acoustic properties of the partition when combined with appropriate plasterboard and insulation. It remains lightweight for easy handling, cutting, and transport, while resisting rot, warping, and moisture-related damage commonly associated with timber.
