The Metal Ceiling Grid Angle is an L-shaped perimeter support trim designed for use in suspended ceiling systems. Measuring 25mm x 25mm in profile and 3600mm in length, this component forms the structural edge along internal walls.
During installation, the angle is fixed horizontally directly to the perimeter walls using appropriate anchors or screws. Once secured, it establishes the correct height and level for the entire ceiling grid. The suspended ceiling framework then rests neatly onto the horizontal flange of the angle, ensuring a uniform finish and hiding the cut edges of ceiling tiles or plasterboard.
Produced from galvanised steel, the angle offers inherent resistance to corrosion and ensures long-term structural integrity. The 3600mm length helps to reduce the number of joins required along extended wall runs, which accelerates the overall setup process. It can be easily cut to size using standard metal snips or a hacksaw to accommodate corners and specific room dimensions.
