OSB3 conditioned board is a strong engineered panel measuring 2440mm by 1220mm with a thickness of 18mm, made to deliver solid structural performance within domestic or light industrial constructions. The board is pre-dried (“conditioned”) to reduce the risk of bending, warping or movement once installed. Typical uses include flooring, roof decking, wall sheathing, sub-flooring and platform construction.
To install, ensure the support frame (joists, studs or battens) is flat, level and correctly spaced, lay the board with staggered joints, fix securely using suitable screws or nails, leave small gaps for expansion, and consider sealing or painting exposed edges where damp may occasionally occur.
- Thick 18mm panel gives excellent rigidity and load-bearing strength for flooring, deck or structural use
- Large 2440mm × 1220mm sheet size reduces number of joints, cutting time and material waste
- Conditioned board reduces risk of warping and distortion after installation in typical indoor environments
