This OSB3 conditioned board is a precision engineered structural panel designed for use in indoor or semi-exposed building applications. “Conditioned” means the board has been acclimatised to reduce moisture content before delivery to help prevent warping or distortion once installed. It is not fire resistant nor fully moisture proof, but it performs well in environments with occasional humidity. Common uses include wall sheathing, internal flooring underlays, roof decking, subflooring, and partitioning.
To install, ensure supporting joists or studs are level and correctly spaced, allow the board to acclimatise on site, fix using suitable screws or nails, leave slight gaps between sheets for thermal or moisture expansion, and seal or finish exposed edges if required.
- OSB3 grade gives stronger performance than lower OSB types, suitable for structural and load-bearing tasks
- 9mm thickness balances strength with lighter weight, making handling easier and reducing overall structural load
- Large sheet size 2397mm × 1197mm means fewer joints, cuts and less wastage on site
- Conditioning ensures reduced risk of swelling or warping once the board is fixed in place
- Cost-effective alternative to plywood for many internal structural applications
