This OSB3 conditioned board is an engineered structural panel designed for internal or semi-protected use, the “conditioned” process means the board has been dried and stabilised to moderate moisture content to reduce risk of warping or dimensional change once installed. While not fire- or moisture-resistant, it performs well in situations with occasional humidity. Common uses include wall sheathing, underfloor or subflooring, roof decking, partitioning, and internal lining.
To install, ensure supporting joists or studs are level, solid and correctly spaced, acclimatise the board to site conditions before fixing, leave small gaps between boards for expansion, use appropriate fasteners, and seal or protect exposed edges if there is occasional damp or moisture exposure.
- 11mm thickness offers a balance of strength and lighter weight for easier handling and suitable load-bearing
- Sheet dimensions 2440mm × 1220mm help reduce number of joins, cutting effort and site waste
- Conditioned board resists warping, twisting or shrinkage after installation in typical interior environments
- OSB3 grade gives improved performance under moderate moisture compared to lower OSB grades
