The Simpson Strong-Tie ABR90 is a reinforced angle bracket designed for structural applications in wood-frame properties. Made from pre-galvanised mild steel, this bracket provides secure connections between supporting and supported members, including solid wood, glued-laminated wood, concrete, and steel. It offers tested load capacity in all directions, supporting structural stability in a variety of framing applications.
This angle bracket is applied to fasten small trusses, cladding plates, uprights, rafter anchors, and headers. It features multiple holes for both full and partial nailing, accommodating ring-shank nails, screws, bolts, and mechanical anchors depending on the substrate. The bracket measures 90mm in length and width, with a 65mm depth and 2.5mm thickness.
The ABR90 is certified for indoor use under Service Class 2 conditions. It provides a practical and standardised solution for connecting structural timber components to rigid substrates or other timber elements.
