The 2250mm Keystone SK-90 is a standard duty cavity wall lintel designed to deliver reliable structural support above wider window and door openings. Specified for external walls, this steel lintel is suited for cavities ranging from 90-105mm in width. It easily supports a 102mm outer leaf alongside a 100mm inner blockwork leaf, making it a dependable load-bearing solution for conventional masonry builds.
For correct installation, the inner blockwork must be built tightly against the vertical face of the lintel. A continuous mortar bed should then be applied to the blockwork prior to placing any floor units, ensuring the heavy structural weight is evenly dispersed.
