The 1950mm Keystone SK-90 is a standard load cavity wall lintel designed to support blockwork above window and door openings. Specified for external walls, this structural component serves a cavity width between 90-105mm. It easily accommodates a 102mm outer leaf and a 100mm inner blockwork leaf, establishing itself as a core load-bearing element in traditional masonry construction.
During the building process, blockwork should be laid flush against the inner face of the steel lintel. A mortar bed is placed on top of the blockwork before installing any floor units, which ensures the heavy structural load is distributed evenly.
