The 2550mm Keystone SK-90 is a standard duty cavity wall lintel designed to deliver robust structural support across wider window and door openings. Specified for external walls, this steel lintel is suited for cavities ranging from 90-105mm in width. It effectively supports a 102mm outer leaf alongside a 100mm inner blockwork leaf, establishing itself as a core load-bearing component in conventional masonry builds.
For proper installation, the inner blockwork must be built tightly against the vertical face of the lintel. A continuous mortar bed should then be applied to the blockwork prior to placing any floor units, ensuring the heavy structural weight is evenly dispersed.
