This 300mm stainless steel wall tie is a structural masonry component designed to secure the inner and outer leaves of a cavity wall. By tying the brick and block layers together, it ensures the two parts act as a single, stable unit, preventing differential movement caused by wind loads or ground settlement. This specific model is supplied without a retaining disc, making it appropriate for applications where insulation retention is not required or discs are acquired separately.
Installed directly into the mortar joints during the build process, the tie features a central drip formation. This specific kinked design directs condensation and moisture to fall away from the wall tie, preventing water transfer across the cavity to the internal leaf.
Produced from corrosion-resistant austenitic stainless steel, this 300mm tie is designed for wider cavity widths, typically accommodating spaces from 150mm to 175mm depending on the required embedment depth. The material ensures long-term integrity within the mortar, meeting the structural requirements for modern building regulations.
- Made from stainless steel to resist corrosion within masonry cavities.
- Measures 300mm in length to suit wider wall cavities up to 175mm.
- Central drip design prevents water crossing the cavity to the inner leaf.
- Supplied without an insulation retaining disc for standard masonry builds.
- Secures brick and block leaves to provide structural stability in walls.
