It accommodates a 102mm outer leaf alongside a 100mm inner blockwork leaf, establishing itself as a fundamental load-bearing component in conventional masonry builds.
For a proper installation, the inner blockwork must be built flush against the vertical face of the steel lintel. A continuous mortar bed should then be applied directly to the blockwork prior to placing any floor units, ensuring the heavy structural weight is evenly dispersed.
