Product Information
The Expamet Plasterstop Bead is manufactured from 0.4mm galvanised mild steel, providing strong resistance to corrosion. Designed with a 13mm plaster depth and 56mm wing length, it gives reliable edge support and helps reduce the risk of cracking or chipping along plaster lines.
Fitting the bead is simple and flexible. It can be secured using plaster dabs, galvanised nails, staples, or a suitable grab adhesive, spaced at intervals of no more than 600mm. When working over metal lathing, wire tying is the preferred fixing method.
If adjustments are needed, the bead can be cut to size easily on site using tin snips or aviation cutters, making it adaptable for various applications.
