The ReKkur PB-AB is a white uPVC angle bead designed for external rendering and internal plastering applications. Measuring 2.5m in length with a 15mm aris, it is suitable for use within external wall insulation systems, dry lining, timber frames, and general plastering work. The bead provides a straight edge while protecting corners from impact damage due to its punched aris configuration, which actively dissipates shock waves.
Installation follows standard industry practice, requiring the 2.5m bead to be cut to length using tin snips or a fine-tooth saw. For blockwork, fixing with a continuous line of adhesive mortar or a bed of render is recommended. Non-corrosive mechanical fixings can be used as an alternative, and these are sufficient on their own when installing external wall insulation.
Produced from RE-22 recycled polymer, this angle bead offers a lower embodied carbon footprint compared to metal alternatives. It will not stain or corrode, making it suitable for high-moisture or high-salt coastal areas. Complying with BS EN 13658-2:2005, it integrates easily with the wider range of plastering beads required for standard wall applications.
