This 22mm VSH Tectite Sprint TT1 straight coupling is designed to join two lengths of 22mm pipe in a straight line without the requirement for heat or specialised tools. Formed from solid copper, this fitting utilises advanced push-fit technology across both sockets to create a secure, watertight connection. The heat-free installation process reduces fitting time on site, removes the need for hot works permits, and is highly suitable for domestic and light commercial applications.
The coupling accommodates a range of pipe materials, including standard copper tube, polybutylene (PB), and cross-linked polyethylene (PEX), provided the correct pipe inserts are used with plastic options. It features a slim, low-profile body that is easily concealed within tight spaces such as partition walls and under floorboards. Designed to maintain electrical continuity, it ensures safe integration with existing metallic pipework systems.
Compliant with stringent industry standards, this fitting is WRAS approved and carries the BSI Kitemark for use in potable water networks and central heating circuits. VSH Tectite
