The Sankel kit is designed to help maintain and protect your central heating system. It includes a 22mm magnetic filter and two 500ml bottles of system inhibitor.
The magnetic filter captures iron oxide sludge and other magnetic particles that build up in the system over time. These particles can cause blockages and damage internal components of your boiler and radiators. By removing them, the filter helps prevent breakdowns and keeps the system running efficiently.
The system inhibitor is a chemical treatment that slows down corrosion and the formation of scale inside your heating system. Adding it regularly helps protect metal parts from rust and reduces the risk of internal damage.
For ongoing protection, a new dose of inhibitor should be added during each annual boiler service. This routine maintenance helps extend the life of your boiler and radiators, improves energy efficiency, and can reduce heating costs over time.
