The Nova Scotia internal door is a contemporary, 4 panel plank design finished with an American white oak real wood veneer. It is designed for domestic and commercial applications where a standard interior door is required. The design features rebated solid oak chamfered inlays to create a sheeted effect with clean lines and a smooth face.
Supplied fully finished with two coats of clear satin lacquer, this oak door requires no additional surface treatment before installation. It includes an 11mm solid oak lipping, allowing for trimming of up to 10mm in both width and height to accommodate off-standard openings. The door is hung using standard hinges and is compatible with standard internal handles, latches, and hardware.
The core consists of an engineered particleboard, providing strength and stability to prevent warping over time. At a thickness of 40mm, the dense core also delivers measurable soundproofing and thermal insulation properties. The combination of a heavy core and real wood veneer provides a substantial feel suitable for bedrooms, living areas, and office spaces.
