In some installations, the plume needs to be released at a height above ground level rather than discharging close to paths or openings. This high level 90° terminal supports that requirement by providing a horizontal outlet after the flue has first risen vertically through the Blue System pipework used on 26–70kW Grant oil boilers.
The terminal links directly with other 100mm Blue System fittings using the supplied locking band, forming a rigid assembly that is suited to external wall mounting. Its 90° change of direction allows the flue run to be positioned upward before turning outward, helping installers create a clear termination point that avoids obstructions or sensitive locations.
Placed within a wider Blue System design, this terminal works alongside plume diverter sections, straight extensions, wall brackets and offset elbows available in the Oil Boiler Flues range. When planning the layout, installers should still account for Grant’s plume height rules, including the overall rise allowed and the reductions caused by each 45° bend along the route.
