The Velux EDL CK04 2000 is an upgraded Pro+ grey aluminium flashing kit supplied with both the BDX insulation collar and the BFX underfelt collar. It is designed to seamlessly integrate a 550mm by 980mm Velux roof window into flat roofing surfaces utilising natural or man-made slate with a maximum thickness of 8mm. The kit creates a completely weather-tight and low-profile seal, ensuring effective rainwater drainage away from the window structure.
The integrated BDX insulation collar wraps tightly around the roof window frame to reduce heat loss, eliminate cold bridges, and optimise the overall thermal performance of the installation. Simultaneously, the pleated, vapour-permeable BFX underfelt collar ensures a secure, flexible seal between the window frame and the roof's existing underfelt line. This system also features an adjustable transverse drainage gutter to collect and channel away any water that penetrates the top roofing materials.
Compatible with roof pitches ranging from 15 to 90 degrees, this kit features a discreet grey powder-coated finish that aligns flush with standard external Velux window frame profiles. It is not suitable for interlocking slate or profiled tiles.
