The Stanley VDE Screwdriver Set (7 Piece) is a collection of insulated fastening tools designed for electrical safety. The set includes four slotted screwdrivers, two Pozidriv screwdrivers, and a voltage tester, allowing for safe installation and maintenance tasks on live circuits up to 1000V AC. These tools are typically utilised on electrical panels, terminal blocks, domestic wiring circuits, and commercial switchboxes where protection against shock is required.
Each tool features a chrome vanadium steel blade with a hardened tip to resist wear and maintain torque transfer efficiency during operation. A continuous, heavy-duty protective plastic insulation sheath runs the full length of the bar to prevent accidental short circuits and contact with live current. The handle incorporates a moulded bar connection to enhance tool longevity under high torque loads.
The large diameter handles feature a bi-material soft grip that provides control during repetitive manual fastening tasks.
