The Stanley FatMax Classic Tape Twin Pack provides a 5m and an 8m tape measure for determining dimensions during site and workshop tasks. This set covers a wide range of requirements, from short interior spans to longer structural layouts.
Each tape measure features a 32mm wide Mylar-coated steel blade that extends with up to a 3.3m standout, facilitating unsupported use over long distances. The first 100mm of the blade is reinforced with BladeArmor coating to reduce the risk of breakage at the most vulnerable point. A multi-catch Tru-Zero hook accounts for its own thickness to provide exact inside and outside measurements, gripping building materials from above, below, or either side.
Housed in a high-impact ABS plastic case with a rubberised overmould, these units withstand physical impact while offering a slip-resistant grip. The slide-locking mechanism holds the blade securely in place for easy reading of the metric and imperial graduations. Both tapes comply with EC Class II accuracy standards, delivering a tested +/- 0.5mm error tolerance at 1m.
