The Spear & Jackson Tubular Tarmac Rake is a heavy duty tool designed for working with tarmac, asphalt, and similar materials. It features a robust carbon steel head fitted with 16 teeth for efficient raking and levelling. The rake is engineered for demanding site conditions where strength and heat resistance are essential.
Its tubular steel handle measures approximately 1750mm in length, providing extended reach and reducing operator strain. An extra long tang and socket design keeps the handle safely away from hot surfaces during application, ensuring durability and user safety. This rake is suitable for spreading, topping, and levelling tarmac or asphalt during roadwork and surfacing tasks.
The head width ranges between 385mm and 470mm depending on the model, offering a broad working area for rapid material distribution. The combination of carbon steel and tubular steel construction ensures strength and longevity under heavy duty use.
