Sika AnchorFix-1 is a fast-curing, two-component polyester anchoring adhesive designed for securing heavy-duty fastenings. Formulated without solvents or styrene, this low-odour resin is supplied in a standard 300ml cartridge that can be used with a conventional application gun. It creates a robust, high-capacity chemical bond, ensuring reliable structural support without inducing expansive forces into the base material.
It is suitable for anchoring threaded rods, bolts, and special fastening systems into concrete, solid or hollow masonry, hard natural stone, and solid rock. The non-sag formula allows it to be applied vertically and overhead without dripping or product wastage.
Application requires a clean, dust-free drill hole to ensure maximum adhesion. The A and B components mix automatically as they pass through the static mixer nozzle, activating the rapid-curing process. Once injected into the prepared hole, the fixing must be inserted with a rotary motion within the designated open time. The adhesive delivers exceptional pull-out strength and load capacity once fully cured.
