The Rothenberger SuperFire PRO Gas Blow Torch with MAPP Gas and Hot Bag is a plumbing torch kit designed for soldering, brazing, and copper pipe work. The set includes the SuperFire 2 torch, two bottles of MAPP gas, and a zipped storage bag capable of holding the torch and up to four gas bottles. It is used for joining copper pipework with diameters ranging from 8mm to 54mm.
This torch uses an adjustable turbine flame to concentrate heat directly onto the joint. MAPP gas burns at a higher temperature than standard propane, reaching up to 1950°C, which allows for faster heating and effective brazing. A piezo ignition provides a consistent starting mechanism, and the jet-filtered design prevents gas flow issues during operation. The solid cast body provides physical protection while the torch remains under 700g in weight.
The tool operates at any angle, including upside down, allowing for use in restricted spaces. The dedicated storage bag ensures the secure transport of the torch and gas bottles between locations.
