The Re-Kkur PVC Movement Bead is an edging product designed to accommodate thermal expansion and structural movement in plastered and rendered surfaces. Produced from 100% recycled PVC (RE-22 polymer), this 10mm by 2.5m bead helps to reduce the risk of cracking in continuous runs of plaster or render.
Suitable for both external rendering and internal plastering, the bead is chemically inert and safe for use with water, sand, cement, acrylic renders, and water-based paints. Its robust structure provides impact resistance and eliminates the risk of corrosion associated with metal alternatives. By dissipating shock waves, it offers protection in high-traffic or vulnerable areas. As part of a wider range of beads & mesh, it facilitates clean, straight expansion joints.
Installation is straightforward, with a punched arris design that allows for visual alignment and a wider profile to prevent trowel snagging. The bead can be cleaned and painted to match the surrounding render without requiring special treatment.
