The Redring Bright 8.5kW Multi-Connection Electric Shower is an instantaneous water heating unit designed for domestic bathrooms and shower enclosures. It operates by heating cold mains water directly as it passes through the system, removing the need for a stored hot water supply. The shower is activated via a push-button start and stop control, while separate rotary dials allow users to select from four power settings (high, medium, low, cold) and precisely adjust the water temperature.
Designed to facilitate replacement and installation, the unit features SmartFit technology with a choice of eight water entry points and six cable entry points. A dual terminal block allows for left or right side power connection, accommodating existing wiring and pipework layouts. The removable lower sections provide access for wiring and plumbing connections. This adaptability makes it suitable for updating older Electric Showers without requiring extensive re-tiling or wall modifications.
The complete system includes the 8.5kW shower unit, a 600mm adjustable chrome riser rail with a soap dish, a 1.25m anti-kink flexible hose, and a three-mode rub-clean shower head. It holds an A energy efficiency rating and full BEAB safety approval. Operating on a 1bar to 10bar water pressure range, it delivers a minimum flow rate of 8L/min.
