This engineered wood flooring uses ultra wide 260mm oak planks that are hand finished to create a textured, reclaimed appearance. Each 2.2m length is selected for natural character and then smoked to deepen the tone. The surface is brushed to expose the grain and finished with natural oil for protection.
The planks are kiln dried and bonded to a multi‑layer ply base, providing stability across a range of indoor environments. A tongue and groove profile allows the boards to be either floated on underlay or fixed directly to the subfloor using suitable adhesives. The angled bevel edge contributes to the reclaimed aesthetic.
At 15mm thick with a 4mm oak top layer, the boards can be sanded several times during their lifespan. They are suitable for all rooms except bathrooms. Regular maintenance with suitable hardwax oils and cleaners helps preserve the appearance and performance of the oiled finish.
