This 28mm equal solder ring tee is designed to join three lengths of 28mm copper pipe, allowing installers to create a branch in the pipework. Formed from solid copper, the fitting incorporates a pre-inserted ring of lead-free solder within each capillary socket. When heat is applied using a blowtorch, the solder melts to create a secure, watertight and gas-tight joint without the requirement for additional solder wire.
The fitting is WRAS approved, Kitemarked, and complies with BS EN 1254 standards. It is suitable for both direct and indirect hot and cold water services, domestic gas lines, and central heating circuits. Installers only need to apply a suitable flux to the cleaned pipe ends before inserting them into the tee and applying heat.
