The Makita DLX2131TJ is an 18V cordless tool kit that contains the DHP482 combi drill and the DTD152 impact driver. Powered by the 18V LXT lithium-ion battery platform, this combination kit provides separate units for drilling, hammer drilling, and fastening tasks across masonry, steel, and timber. The package is supplied with two 5.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, a DC18RC fast charger, and a stackable Makpac type 3 connector case, facilitating portable operations without immediate mains power access.
The DHP482 combi drill provides up to 62Nm of torque and utilises a two-speed mechanical gearbox with all-metal gears for power transmission. It features a 13mm keyless chuck, a 21-stage torque adjustment clutch, and drilling capacities of 13mm in masonry or steel and 38mm in wood. For heavy fastening, the DTD152 impact driver delivers up to 165Nm of torque via a 1/4"Hex drive shank. It operates at up to 2,900rpm and 3,500ipm, suitable for tightening standard bolts up to M16 and long wood screws.
Both tools are equipped with twin LED job lights featuring pre-glow and after-glow functions for visibility in low-light environments. An integrated battery protection circuit shields the cells from over-discharge, high temperature, and overload current.
