This accessory pack includes a Makita 18V 5.0Ah LXT lithium-ion battery (BL1850B) and a DC18RC 240V fast charger. Designed for compatibility with the extensive Makita 18V LXT cordless power tool range, the battery provides continuous power for heavy-duty site tasks. The 5.0Ah capacity offers extended run time for high-drain equipment while maintaining the same physical size and weight as the standard 3.0Ah model. An integrated LED charge level indicator allows operators to monitor remaining battery life at the touch of a button.
The included DC18RC rapid charger replenishes the 5.0Ah battery in 45 minutes, minimising downtime during operation. It features an active forced air cooling system that blows ambient air through the battery vents during the charging cycle. This prevents the internal cells from overheating and helps to extend the overall lifespan of the unit. The charger communicates directly with the battery's built-in memory chip to optimise the charging current, voltage, and temperature.
