The Laserliner TKX-320 is a retractable utility knife designed for general purpose cutting tasks in construction, workshop, or home settings. It features a sturdy metal body and a sliding razor blade that can be extended for use and retracted for safe storage. The knife uses standard replaceable utility blades, making it suitable for cutting materials like cardboard, plastic sheeting, flooring, carpet, and strapping.
The main body is made of a zinc alloy metal, with contoured sections and a textured grip that provide secure handling. A thumb operated slider lets you adjust the blade to different cutting positions and locks it in place during use to prevent slipping. When not in use, the blade fully retracts into the handle to help prevent accidental contact.
The TKX-320 has a quick release mechanism that allows you to swap out dull blades in seconds without needing a screwdriver. The handle includes an internal storage compartment holding the spare blades. The knife comes supplied with a total of six carbon steel blades (one pre-fitted in the knife and five spares in storage).
