The Simpson Strong-Tie JHM225/75 is a masonry joist hanger designed to support solid sawn timber, structural trusses, and engineered joists. Formed from 2mm pre-galvanised mild steel, this specific variant accommodates single 75mm or double 35mm joist widths and is compatible with 225mm joist heights.

During installation, the top flange is built into the mortar joint, utilising its raised embossments and drilled holes to improve structural mortar keying. The extended top flange provides a wide contact area on the masonry support, while the heightened side flanges increase resistance to joist rotation. A built-in inspection slot at the base allows for visual assessment from the ground to verify correct joist seating once the hanger is installed.
