This 225mm extension is part of Grant’s Yellow System, designed for low-level balanced flue layouts on internal oil boilers up to 26kW. It is fitted when the standard telescopic section of a horizontal flue kit does not provide enough reach to pass through thicker walls or when the flue centreline needs to be set further from the appliance.
The extension connects directly into the Yellow System’s push-fit arrangement using the supplied locking band, allowing installers to create an uninterrupted straight section without trimming components. Because Yellow System horizontal runs are limited to 4 metres—including allowances for elbows and resistance—it becomes a useful piece in achieving precise alignment while remaining within Grant’s flue-planning limits.
When paired with other Yellow System elbows, terminals and additional extensions available through the Oil Boiler Flues range, this section enables a clean and predictable through-wall discharge route. It is commonly used where building depth, internal boiler positioning, or external obstacles require modest adjustments to the flue length.
