Used at the top of an external Blue System run, this vertical terminal provides the finishing outlet for discharging flue gases upwards. It is intended for Grant oil boiler installations in the 26kW to 70kW range where a vertical plume route is required, such as along an outside wall or from a boiler house flue exit.
A locking band connection is supplied to secure the terminal onto the rest of the Blue System pipework, helping keep the termination stable in exposed outdoor locations. It fits within the same component family as the 100mm plume kits, extensions and elbows listed in the Oil Boiler Flues range.
When planning a full Blue System route, the vertical terminal is selected as the final outlet after the required straight sections and any offsets have been set, following Grant layout rules for external single wall flue routing and wall penetration requirements.
