When a flue needs to rise vertically before discharging sideways at an elevated point, this high level 90° terminal provides the required change in direction for Grant’s 80mm Blue System. It is intended for use on oil boilers up to 26kW where a low-level outlet is unsuitable due to nearby walkways, windows or tight boundary lines.
The terminal forms a secure joint with the rest of the Blue System using the supplied locking band, allowing the route to transition cleanly from a vertical rise to a horizontal termination point. Because it is part of the single-wall external plume system, it is commonly installed on outside walls where the flue run needs to sit clear of lower obstructions before exiting.
As with other Blue System components, this terminal works in combination with elbows, extensions, plume diverter kits and wall brackets available in the Oil Boiler Flues range. Installers should account for the overall plume height limits, especially the maximum 6m rise and any adjustments required when using angled fittings elsewhere in the system.
