This 500mm extension is part of Grant’s EZ-Fit Blue System and provides a longer fixed section for external single-wall flue or plume routing on boilers up to 26kW. It is used when the flue run needs to span a wider gap before reaching an elbow, terminal or support point, offering a solid half-metre length that helps shape the overall layout.
The extension connects directly to other 80mm Blue System components using the supplied locking band, forming a rigid joint suited to vertical and horizontal runs. Its extended length is particularly useful when routing a plume line up an external wall or when aligning with a high-level outlet, helping maintain consistent geometry across longer routes without combining multiple shorter pieces.
As part of the broader Blue System arrangement, this section links with plume diverter kits, directional elbows, wall brackets and vertical or high-level terminals found within the Oil Boiler Flues category. It remains subject to Grant’s planning rules for plume management, including the maximum 6m vertical rise and reductions for each 45° elbow added to the route.
