This adjustable extension forms part of Grant’s EZ-Fit Blue System and provides a variable length between 225mm and 295mm for shaping external single-wall flue or plume routes on boilers up to 26kW. Its sliding design offers precise adjustment where a fixed section would not achieve the correct alignment between elbows, terminals or other components.
Built to match the requirements of the Blue System range, the extension locks into place securely using the supplied band to maintain a rigid and stable flue connection. The adjustable length is particularly useful when navigating around external features or when aligning the termination point on a vertical rise or wall-mounted setup, removing the need for multiple small fixed sections.
Within the system layout, this extension fits directly into plume diverter kits, elbows, wall brackets and both vertical and high-level terminals. It follows Grant’s system planning rules, including the maximum 6m vertical rise permitted for plume routes, with reductions applied when 45° elbows are introduced. Because Blue System components cannot be cut, this adjustable section is often chosen to achieve an exact fit.
