Evo-Stik Wood Glue Interior is a fast-setting, extra-strong, one-part synthetic resin emulsion adhesive. Supplied as a viscous white liquid, it dries to a clear, translucent film in minutes. It is specifically formulated for indoor applications on a variety of wood types and is designed to create a bond that is ultimately stronger than the wood itself.
It is suitable for bonding all wood varieties, including softwood, hardwood, chipboard, plywood, and blockwood. Typical applications include assembling frames for interior doors, windows, and drawers, as well as creating standard woodworking joints like mortice and tenon or dowelled connections. It also bonds wood veneers and laminated plastics to wood or chipboard cores.
To apply, the liquid is spread evenly over clean, closely fitting surfaces. The parts must be assembled while the adhesive is wet, usually within an open time of 5 to 10 minutes. Light pressure via clamps or jigs is required during the initial setting period, with a full cure achieved within 24 hours. The resulting bond complies with the EN 204 Type D1 standard for non-structural internal wood adhesives. Once dry, the glue can be sanded, painted, or stained to ensure a clean finish.
