Evo-Stik Super Evo-Bond PVA 5Ltr is a polyvinyl acetate emulsion formulation designed for use as a multi-purpose bonding agent, primer, sealer, and admixture. It is suitable for application across a wide range of common building materials, helping to improve adhesion and bond strength prior to rendering, plastering, or tiling.
The liquid applies white and dries to a transparent film, making it unobtrusive once set. When used as a primer or sealer, it helps control suction on highly porous surfaces such as concrete, brick, and blockwork. For concrete floors, it acts as an effective sealer and dustproofer, requiring approximately 8 hours of drying time before the surface can accommodate foot traffic.
Application can take place in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 25°C, yielding an undiluted coverage rate of between 6m² and 10m² per litre, depending on the application thickness and the porosity of the substrate. Maximum bond strength is typically achieved within 24 hours, and any uncured material or application tools can be cleaned readily using warm soapy water.
