The EVO-STIK Mitre Adhesive Kit is a two-part rapid curing system comprising a 50g bottle of cyanoacrylate adhesive and a 200ml aerosol activator. It is designed to instantly bond mitre corners, edges, and perform quick repairs across a range of rigid materials. The high viscosity adhesive provides gap-filling properties, making it suitable for both porous and non-porous surfaces.
This kit forms clean, tight joints in seconds, eliminating the need for physical clamping. It is effective on wood, MDF, uPVC window frames, most plastics, porcelain, metals, and rubber. Due to the fast-setting chemical reaction between the adhesive and the aromatic amine activator, it provides a strong, water-resistant bond suitable for various interior and exterior repair tasks.
To apply the product, prepare clean and dry surfaces in a well-ventilated area. Apply a single drop of the adhesive to one surface, shake the activator can well, and lightly spray the opposing surface. Bring the two pieces together within 30 seconds and press firmly for approximately 10 seconds to secure the bond. It is not suitable for bonding polyethylene, polypropylene, soft fabrics, or items that hold hot liquids.
