The Essentials Mexicano Solid FD30 is a 44mm thick fire rated door featuring a classic cottage-style design with deep vertical grooves. The product has a solid engineered core and is supplied with an oak veneer. It provides certified fire resistance, limiting the spread of fire and smoke for up to 30 minutes when installed correctly.
This door is fitted in domestic and commercial properties where building regulations specify a minimum fire rating. It functions using a dense internal core that withstands high temperatures, working alongside intumescent strips within the frame to seal the opening during a fire. The heavy solid core also offers greater acoustic insulation compared to standard hollow doors.
