EGGER P5 is an enhanced moisture-resistant structural flooring board designed for domestic flooring, new builds, refurbishments, and modular or timber frame projects. It is a 2400mm by 600mm chipboard sheet with a 22mm thickness, making it suitable for damp or humid environments such as kitchens and bathrooms when laid in dry conditions. This product serves as the foundation of the EGGER Advanced Structural Flooring System and integrates directly with standard joist structures.
Each board features a tongue and groove profile shaped with a diamond-tipped tool to create precise and consistent joints. This design allows the boards to slot together securely for a faster laying process. Produced from locally sourced timber, recycled materials, and virgin fibres from sawmill waste, the boards are FSC and CE certified. At the end of their service life, they can be processed through commercial waste-wood recycling facilities.
When fitted using the recommended installation methods with EGGER Joint & Joist Adhesive, these boards are covered by the EGGER Advanced Lifetime Guarantee. They are tested to BS EN 312 standards and provide 30 minutes of fire resistance under BS EN 1365-2:2014. As part of our wider range of sheet materials, this flooring solution offers practical performance and moderate slip potential to meet HSE guidelines.
