This 28mm x 144mm x 4800mm treated decking board is a timber section designed for creating outdoor ground structures, walkways, and seating platforms. Each length features a dual-purpose profile with a ridged surface on one side, which helps with water runoff and slip resistance in external wet conditions. These boards are suitable for integration into residential and commercial landscaping projects when installed over a supportive joist subframe.
The softwood timber undergoes a pressure treatment process that forces preservative chemicals deep into the wood structure, providing long-term protection against fungal decay and wood-boring insects. This treatment eliminates the immediate need for initial on-site sealing, though cut ends should be treated with an appropriate preservative end-grain sealer during installation. These boards are compatible with standard timber decking screws and can be easily cut to specific project requirements.
