Crown Trade Fastflow Quick Dry Primer Undercoat is a water based primer and undercoat designed for interior and exterior use on suitably prepared wood, metal, and PVCu surfaces. It provides a smooth, even base for subsequent topcoats such as gloss, satin, or eggshell finishes within the Crown Trade Fastflow system.
This internal paint formulation offers quick drying properties, becoming touch dry in 1–2 hours and recoatable after 4 hours under normal conditions. Its low odour Breatheasy® technology ensures minimal VOC content, making it suitable for environments where air quality is a consideration. The product is LEED® and BREEAM® accredited, supporting sustainable building standards.
Application can be carried out using a brush, roller, or spray. With a spreading rate of up to 15m² per litre, the 2.5L pack provides coverage of approximately 37.5m² depending on surface texture and porosity. It is recommended for use as part of a system with Crown Trade Fastflow topcoats for optimal performance.
