Crown Trade Covermatt Obliterating Emulsion is a water-based matt emulsion formulated for first-time decoration of new interior walls and ceilings. The breathable formulation allows plaster and new substrates to continue drying without affecting the paint surface, making it suitable for new-build work.
The product has a coverage rate of up to 18m² per litre and can be applied using a brush, medium-pile roller or spray equipment, with thinning recommended for sealing new or bare surfaces. It provides a uniform matt finish in Magnolia, helping to achieve an even base before further decorative coats are applied.
Under normal conditions at 20°C and 65% RH, Covermatt is touch dry in 1–2 hours and ready for recoating after 4 hours. It is designed for internal use only and should not be applied below 8°C or when relative humidity is above 80%.
