Bostik Flashband Original is a self-adhesive, bitumen-backed sealing strip designed to provide an instant, watertight seal across a range of building materials. It features four protective layers, incorporating a membrane, foil, lacquer, and a bitumen adhesive to prevent water ingress. The flexible nature of the tape allows it to mould to different contours, providing a secure bond on both flat and uneven surfaces.
This 225mm wide flashing tape provides balanced coverage and is commonly used for repairing lead flashing, sealing valley gutters, mending leaks in drain pipes, and fixing roofing felt joints on flat roofs. It adheres effectively to brick, masonry, slates, concrete roof tiles, wood, metal, terracotta, glass, and rigid plastics.
