Bostik Bituminous Roof Felt Adhesive is a cold-applied, solvent-based bituminous adhesive designed to provide high initial grab. It is formulated to bond bituminous roofing felts to a variety of standard roofing substrates, including asphalt, existing felt, metal, timber, and concrete. Supplied in a 2.5L tin, it removes the need for hot application methods, allowing for straightforward installation using standard brushes or squeegees.
Once applied, the adhesive cures to produce a strong, flexible bond that hardens and softens in response to ambient temperature changes, accommodating the natural movement of the roof structure. Beyond bonding underlays and top sheets, it serves as an effective compound for sealing laps on roofing felt and for adhering mineral chippings to bituminous flat roof surfaces.
