Product Information
FineFloor FibreBoard is a rigid wood fibre underlay panel designed for floating laminate and floating engineered wood flooring on timber subfloors such as floorboards, plywood and OSB. It helps level minor unevenness, improves insulation for better comfort underfoot, and reduces impact noise from footfall to make rooms feel quieter.
Supplied as 5mm boards, it provides a firmer, more supportive base than many roll underlays and helps create a more consistent surface under a floating floor. Each pack covers 7.02m² and includes 14 boards, making it easier to plan quantities for smaller rooms and tighter areas.
This underlay is intended for floating floor installations only. It is not suitable for glue-down floors (including most LVT) or nail-down solid wood flooring. It is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems, but you should always follow the flooring manufacturer’s maximum tog guidance for the full floor build-up.
